El Panorama is a site I created to go along with PLVS VLTRA. Initially, I hoped to link PLVS VLTRA directly but the posts would have had to be pre-approved by the department. Instead, El Panorama became a place where content related to the PLVS VLTRA theme could be published and shared. It celebrates and explores Hispanic and Italian culture through literature, photographs, and food – all from a thrifty student perspective. It also included a food blog element with recipes that were funny and time- and price-conscious.

Albatross

I worked as a copyeditor the Albatross, UVic’s English Department undergraduate journal. But they also selected one of my photographs to use as the cover for their latest volume:

PartyLite

PartyLite is my side business! http://www.partylite.biz/orianalite

For a little side job, I became a PartyLite consultant in February 2015. PartyLite works in a similar way to TupperWare except instead of plastics and containers it’s candles, flameless décor, and other home décor. I have yet to transfer the website from the UVic WordPress to the less restrictive WordPress site, but for now you can check out the Facebook and Twitter pages I’ve set up:
